January Newsletter - 2026
1/31/26, 6:00 PM
Take a look at January, where indoor learning, outdoor strength, winter art, weather exploration, and meaningful conversations came together to support steady growth and confidence in our toddlers.

January at focused on steady progress, growing independence, and learning through everyday experiences. Throughout the month, the children engaged in hands-on indoor activities that supported early math, language development, sensory exploration, and creative building. From tracing shapes and sorting colors to exploring numbers, weather, and seasonal changes, learning continued to unfold through guided play and meaningful interaction.
Outdoor time reflected noticeable growth in strength and confidence. The children climbed, swung, and slid independently while also participating in simple group games that encouraged cooperation and communication. These shared experiences supported both physical development and stronger peer connections.
This issue also highlights winter-themed arts and crafts, where creativity and fine motor skills were strengthened through process-focused projects. In addition, we introduced age-appropriate conversations around Martin Luther King Jr. Day, pairing discussion with hands-on activities that encouraged kindness and self-expression.
An unexpected winter storm provided another opportunity for learning. Through photographs and group discussion, the children explored concepts related to snow, ice, safety, clothing, and seasonal weather, connecting real-life events to new vocabulary and observations.
This month's newsletter reflects a month of steady growth, expanding language skills, increased confidence, and meaningful exploration. We’re grateful for the continued partnership with our families and look forward to building on this momentum in the months ahead.
